Tree Surgeons in Milton Keynes
Welcome to Browns Tree Solutions Ltd - Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes isn’t just where we work - it’s home. I’m Jaz, and I’ve grown up in Milton Keynes my whole life, so we know the area inside out and we genuinely care about doing a great job for local customers.
Browns Tree Solutions was established by my dad Ray, back in 1997; starting out with equipment stored in his sister’s shed at her home in Browns Wood. Fast forward almost 30 years to today and we’re a well-established, family-run tree surgery business with a brilliant team, now proudly based at Lower Rectory Farm in Milton Keynes.
We carry out professional tree work for homeowners, commercial sites and local authorities across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas - from pruning and reductions to removals, stump grinding and site clearance. We’ve also worked alongside Milton Keynes Council on a number of projects, including the demolition of the old Agora building in Wolverton, where we cleared trees and vegetation to allow the demolition works to go ahead safely.
Over the years we’ve also completed works at Milton Keynes Hospital, as well as specialist jobs like pruning the palm trees inside Bannatyne Health Club & Spa. Whether it’s a small domestic garden job or a larger commercial project, you can count on us for safe, tidy, professional work - done properly, by a local team that’s been part of Milton Keynes for decades.

Things to Do in Milton Keynes (Outdoors & In the Trees!)
Milton Keynes is packed with green space and outdoor activities, which is one of the reasons so many people love living here. Whether you’re out for a family day, a weekend adventure, or just getting some fresh air, there’s always something going on.
If you fancy something a bit more adrenaline-filled, Go Ape is a brilliant shout - with treetop courses and forest adventures that make the most of the surrounding woodland. And for a more relaxed day out, places like Willen Lake are perfect for waterside walks, paddleboarding, picnics and family fun.
With so many parks, redways and woodland areas across MK, it’s no surprise that trees play such a big part in the local landscape - and we’re proud to help keep them safe, healthy and well managed for homeowners, businesses and public spaces alike.
Milton Keynes: A City Built Around Green Space (and a Love of Trees)
Milton Keynes might be known for its modern design, but it’s also famous for how green it is — with parks, tree-lined roads and open spaces running right through the city. From the older villages like Wolverton and Stony Stratford to the newer estates across MK, trees have always been a big part of what makes the area feel special.
Milton Keynes also continues to play its part in protecting and celebrating the UK’s trees. Following the story of the Sycamore Gap tree, a new sapling was planted in Milton Keynes as part of the wider effort to protect and continue the legacy of such an iconic tree. It’s a great reminder of how important trees are — not just for the environment, but for communities, history and everyday life too.

At Browns Tree Solutions, we’re proud to be part of that bigger picture - helping to look after trees properly, whether it’s a small garden prune or large-scale vegetation clearance for major projects.

The Team

Myself, my dad and brother Dylan run Browns Tree Solutions & Firewood Fuel MK.
I oversee Dylan in the office and all of our staff. As well as managing the financial and admin side of the business; ensuring everything runs smoothly.

I have been a tree surgeon for over 30 years and started my arboricultre business back in 1997.
Now I have two businesses, Browns Tree Solutions & Firewood Fuel MK, that I run with my daughter, Jaz.

I am Rays youngest son and have been working with my dad for as long as I can remember, from Saturdays in the busy Winter periods to now working full-time.
I assist Jaz in the office and my dad around yard, dealing with both Browns and Firewood Fuel work and enquiries.
